Currently For Budget Notebooks i have 2 Models to Recommend

Acer's 2423WXCI ~ or ~ Asus's A6R

It's Not only about the Price but the Specification as well, as far as i know this wonder still packs with a reasonable configuration. Althought its Celeron M Processor but its still runs on DDR2 Memory. Comes with a Cool 14inch Wide Screen :)

Higher Price than the Acer's 2423 but Much much more goodie from this Asus, higher Processor and DVD Dual Double Layer As well , Built-In Webcam too ! and lots more lol~Trouble parts is, its heavier and only a standard 15inch XGA LCD.

Specification -> Intel Celeron 380 ( 1.6GHz ) , 512MB DDR2 Ram , 60GB HDD , DVD Dual Double Layer Drive , ATI X200 Express up to 128MB , 15.1inch XGA LCD , Windows XP Home , 2Yrs Int'l Warranty weighting @ 2.8Kg

Amazingly it has a 0.35mp Webcam , 4 USBs , Lan/Modem , Card Reader, IR , Parallel , VGA. Can't Complain much lol~

If you dun fancy a High Powered Processor or Superior Graphics, Dun wait~ Grab it before its Out Of stock lol~ And i Had tested the Sound Quality personally its Superb and many times better than the acer, only the weight issue :p

The Asus A6J Model -

This Model come with the newer Intel Core Duo T2400 , Felt weird when its under the Business section on ASUS's Web singapore when it come with XP Home ? This look more like a Home Base Entertainment Notebook. Alittle bulky but packed with every neccessory Ports including DVI, Great Sound too - S/PDIF Surround (interface is to carry compressed digital audio).

Saw Some review on it indicating a weaker battery life for this model. Nonetheless if its for Home based this would fit in pretty well :)

I Liked the Graphics, Sound Quality, the full range of ports and Easy Buttons for Audio located at the the Tip of the front view :)

Didnt Liked the Battery

Very neat Looking, and Packs with a fast Centrino 2Ghz weighting only at 1.87Kg with Built-in DVD-Super Multi drive

The exterior design is excellent. There are no unnecessary things there to distract you, Just Work Play and focus( Simple and Neat ) and every detail has the optimal shape and size.

Specification -> Intel Centino 2Ghz , 1GB DDR2 , 60GB HDD , 12.1" WXGA , Fine Bright Glossy LCD, Intel Graphics GMA900 64MB , Built-In DVD-Super Multi Drive , Wireless 802.11B/G with Dual Hexa-band , Windows XP Professional.

All models will operate on 1.075 volts, making them very power-friendly, and will be complete with full 64-bit extensions vis-a-vis AMD64 technology

The Turion processor is available today for AMD in the single-core variety in two forms, the ML and MT series. The MT dissipates a maximum of 25 watts, while the ML dissipates a maximum of 35 watts. The X2 models will likely increase on that a bit, but with the added performance--especially on multi-threaded apps--notebook users will see a big speedup.

This is the Preview Of Asus Lamborghini, With Its Name, it sure sound Fast to you lol~
Two Colours I hav seen so far~ Yellow n Black ~
I have got hold of its Preview Specs~ Not really much but good enough to Share :)

- Intel Core Duo;- More than 1GB of RAM;- 15 inch display;- HD over 120 GB;- lighter than most 14 inch notebooks;- Red light on cover to resemble 1970 Lamborghini Miura.

Not much but thats wat currently has been leak out

No info on its Graphics :(

Aesthetically, this notebook is quite pleasing, it is a shiny black color, with all the trendy lights in the right places and a Lambo badge on the case. Nothing to complain about, just a solid looking computer with similarly solid specs.

I have nothing against it, but i Guess the Price is gonna Hit abt $3200+ at least.

Lastly this is one of its unique feature, a secondary display and controller on the lid. It has a little color LCD and a four way pad to allow you to do a bunch of things without turning the PC on. If you use your computer as a music station, this will be very useful to you. It won't change any lives in a meaningful way, but it is quite handy

Executive Professional User ? Heres one Great Notebook you might want to get your hands on :D

First Look at it was it's Size and weight something more for Travelling use, At just 1.59KG With Built-in Drive, It's sure amazing but of cos there's Brands like Sony, Fujitsu and Toshiba ( I guess Price is Important too )

For its Range what i like was the Features it has... well... It has 3 USB, Card Reader and it comes with Window XP Professional too! On top of that Its on Promotion !! Saw the Ads on Friday ? MC2 was Offering this at a Special Price !! Cos for a Light weight notebook most User Disagree with External Drives as it was inconvinient to pluck and unpluck unless you dun mind.

For All Ibooks Lovers but cant understood the use of it's OS hehe.. This Model is Sleekly distinctive with Piano White Finishing ~ Sure is eye catching :D

There's couples of Ads On the Straits Times last Weekend if you hav notice. Promotion on this model publish By MC2 n Courts. I guess it was trying to create awareness on this particular model.

The only thing i didnt like about this model is that it has no Wide screen :p

MacBook Pro

Its Hot.. i read lots of Great reviews about it. Most of the Magazines i hav read Said it was good, example -> Stuff ( singapore ). But Is it really good? You have to Judge it for Yourself :D

Its currently 5 times faster than those previous PowerBooks~ but the DVD writer on the Mac Book Pro is slower... than the Powerbooks ( 4x instead of 8x ).

Theres an Article on Software Issue using Older Mac Software on the new Intel Base Chips. Result were - Hangs, Lags. The probelm can be solve when they launch an Updated Tiger OS on their Systems.

The Mac Book Pro's display is slightly shorter than the PowerBook's-- 60 fewer vertical pixels than the 15-inch powerbook. But its also much brighter @ 300nits. The end result is that the screen is the same brightness as the Apple's Cinema Display ~

Battery Life? well.. You can say.. Not much info on this but.. Apple said its about the same range as the PowerBooks ( 4.5Hrs - 5Hrs )
